How to play this version of Mahjong Connect?

The goal of the game is to remove all the tiles from the board.
You can do that by clicking two matching tiles, which have a route of one to three straight lines connecting them.
The following diagram, extracted from the game's help screen, represents the valid and invalid moves:




The following drawing describes the top panel of the game:

Button (1) will reset the board and generate new random board, this is a very useful option in case you're stuck and don't know what to do next.
Button (2) will give you a hint, by highlighting the next two tiles you can remove from the board.
Button (3) will pause the game, hit it again to resume.
Button (4) will take you back to the main menu of the game.
Panel (5) shows your current score.
